At Kalinga University in Raipur, India, four young Africans met far from home at Pacific Hostel: Lamin D. Kinteh from The Gambia, together with AbdulQadir Kambaza, Sudaisi Muhammad M., and Yazid Usman from Nigeria.
Three studied Computer Engineering. One studied Computer Science. We lived in different rooms, but we shared the same journey.
Life abroad was not always easy. There were moments of struggle and uncertainty. But we stood by each other. We spent long nights working on code, sharing ideas, debating, laughing, and encouraging one another. Whenever one of us felt like giving up, the others were there to push him forward.
What we built during those years was more than academic knowledge. We built trust, resilience, and a shared vision.
After graduation, we returned to our home countries. Lamin went back to The Gambia, while AbdulQadir, Sudaisi, and Yazid returned to Nigeria. Many people would think that was the end of the journey, but it was only the beginning.
We stayed connected. We kept planning and asking ourselves one important question: What are we doing with what we have learned?
We saw many challenges back home. We did not want to keep waiting for solutions from others. We wanted to be part of the solution ourselves.
That decision gave birth to DAHA SMART TECH.
Today, DAHA SMART TECH is a registered technology company in Nigeria. We focus on building solutions that solve real problems. Our work covers software development, data analytics, business intelligence, and AI-powered systems.
Our goal is simple: to contribute to Africa's digital growth by building solutions from within.
From a student hostel in India to a growing technology company in Africa, this is our story. And we are just getting started.
